Welcome to The Whipped Creamery.
We are a small family dairy, and our herdshare is the way we are able to share our raw milk directly with the families who choose to be part of our farm.
When you join our herdshare, you become a member of our dairy herd and gain access to the raw A2A2 Jersey milk and other dairy products we make available to our members.
We keep things pretty simple. You join once, choose the milk and products that work for your family, and manage your order through MilkShelf. There is no long-term commitment to purchase milk, and you can adjust or pause your milk as your needs change.

What Does Membership Include?
As a herdshare member, you have access to:
- Raw, whole A2A2 Jersey milk from our herd
- Dairy products we make available to members, including yogurt, buttermilk, chocolate milk, and cream
- Other farm products available through our online store
- Farm pickup or one of our available drop points
- Flexible milk ordering through MilkShelf
- The ability to adjust, pause, or schedule vacation dates for your milk
- A one-time, lifetime herdshare membership with no annual renewal fee
Product availability can vary from week to week because we are a working farm and produce many of our products in limited quantities.
Your One-Time Membership
$50 Herdshare Membership Fee
The $50 membership fee is paid once when you join. It establishes your membership in our herdshare and covers the administrative work involved in maintaining your membership and herdshare records.
Your membership fee is separate from your milk and other product purchases.
There is no monthly or annual membership fee.
Once you become a member, you remain a member without having to renew your membership each year, subject to the terms of our Herdshare Agreement.

Our milk and dairy products are available to members by pre-order through MilkShelf.

Because our products are made here on the farm, availability can change from week to week. Some items may be available regularly, while others are seasonal or offered in limited quantities.
How Your Milk Order Works
Once you're a member, MilkShelf is where you'll manage your milk order.
Your milk is set up as a weekly recurring order, which means you don't have to remember to place a new milk order every week. Your payment is processed weekly for the milk and other products you've scheduled for that week's pickup.
You are always in control of your order.
Through your MilkShelf account, you can:
- Increase or decrease your weekly milk amount
- Pause your milk when you don't need it
- Schedule vacation dates
- Add available products to your order
- Change your pickup location
- Start receiving milk again when you're ready
Changes need to be made before our weekly order cutoff in order to apply to the upcoming pickup.
Weekly Billing
Milk and other products are billed weekly, not monthly.
Your $50 herdshare membership fee is paid once when you join. Your weekly payments are only for the milk and other products you've ordered for that week.

Your Milk Is Prepared for You
When your milk order is active for the week, we set aside the amount you've ordered as part of our weekly production planning.
If you pause your order or schedule vacation dates before the cutoff, you won't be charged for those weeks and that milk becomes available for other members.
Because we're a small dairy, knowing how much milk our members need ahead of time helps us plan our production and make the most of what our cows are giving us.
Where Do I Pick Up My Milk?
You can choose the pickup option that works best for you when placing your order.
We currently offer farm pickup and refrigerated drop points. Most of our drop points allow you to pick up your order during a range of available hours rather than requiring you to meet us at a specific time.
Central Point is our exception and operates as a short scheduled meetup.

How Do I Become a Member?
Joining the herd is simple and happens through MilkShelf.
1. Enter Your Phone Number
Start by entering your phone number. This will be the phone number you use to return to MilkShelf anytime you need to manage or make changes to your milk order.
2. Set Up Your Pickup
Next, you'll complete the MilkShelf form by choosing your pickup schedule, location, milk quantity, and any available add-ons.
Once you're finished, click Save My Pickup and review your selections before confirming.
3. Complete Your Membership
After confirming your pickup information, you'll be asked to agree to the Terms of Service and complete the Herdshare Agreement.
4. Pay Your One-Time Membership Fee
Once everything is complete, you'll enter your payment information and pay the $50 one-time Herdshare Membership Fee.
After that, you're all set. You'll use MilkShelf anytime you need to manage your milk, make changes to your order, add products, or schedule vacation days.

A Few Things to Know
We are a working family farm, which means things can sometimes look a little different here than they do at a grocery store.
Milk production naturally changes. Product availability changes. Our cows have good days and bad days. Weather can affect deliveries. And sometimes we're making hundreds of jars, baking dozens of cookies, answering customer messages, and taking care of cows all at the same time.
We do our best to communicate changes and keep things running smoothly, but being part of a small farm means you're connected to the people and animals actually producing your food.
That's really the point.
You're not just buying milk. You're becoming part of a local farm and the herd that produces it.
