REAL MILK. REAL COWS.
A FARM YOU CAN BE PART OF.
The Whipped Creamery is a small family dairy in Southern Oregon, where we milk our own A2A2 Jersey cows, bottle our milk right here on the farm, and share it directly with local families through our herdshare.
A2A2-tested Jersey herd · Raw, cream-top milk · Bulk-tank chilled ·
Weekly milk-quality testing · Farm bottled
More Than a Dairy. This Is Our Family Farm.
The Whipped Creamery started with a simple idea: we wanted to raise our family close to the land, know where our food came from, and build something of our own.
What started small has grown into a herd of Jersey cows and a community of local families who have become part of our farm along the way.
We live here. We work here. We know our cows, we bottle the milk here, and we're the ones behind the jars you take home.
We're still a family farm at heart, and that's something we don't want to lose as we grow.
There’s a Lot Behind Every Jar.
We don't just put “farm fresh” on a label and call it a day. We've invested in the equipment, testing, genetics, and systems that allow us to carefully handle our milk from our cows to your family.
We're one of only a very small number of small-scale dairies in our area using a bulk tank to rapidly chill our milk after milking. We also have our milk tested on the farm every week for standard plate count and coliforms, giving us an ongoing look at the quality of the milk we're producing.
Our cows are genetically tested A2A2 Jerseys, and maintaining those genetics is an intentional part of our breeding program. Our milk is raw, non-homogenized, and naturally cream-top, so what you get in your jar is milk that still looks and behaves like milk from the cow.
We're small enough to know our cows individually and hands-on enough to know exactly how our milk is handled. But we've also built the infrastructure and routines to take that responsibility seriously.

It All Starts With Our Cows.
Before there’s a jar of milk, there’s a cow standing in our barn.
Our milk currently comes from our Jersey cows, chosen for the rich, naturally creamy milk Jerseys are known for. We know our cows individually, and their health, comfort, and nutrition are a big part of the work we do every day.
Our cows are genetically tested for A2A2, and maintaining those genetics is an intentional part of our breeding program. We're building this herd with the long term in mind, not simply looking at what works for us today.
Part of that plan is our Normande bull. Normandes are a true dual-purpose breed, valued for both milk and meat. By breeding him to our Jerseys, we'll eventually have Jersey-Normande cows in our milking herd, along with beefier calves that make better use of the animals born here.
We're excited to see where this next generation takes the herd.
So, How Does the Herdshare Work?
Because we provide raw milk, our milk is shared through a herdshare rather than sold as a conventional retail product.
When you join, you become a member of our herdshare and gain access to the milk produced by our cows and the dairy products we make available to members.
There's a one-time $50 membership fee, and there is no annual renewal or long-term commitment to purchase milk. From there, you choose the amount of milk that works for your family and manage your order through MilkShelf.
